July Employee of the Month

Please join us in congratulating Chavone Harris, our July Employee of the Month at Riverview Pointe! Though she’s only been with us a short time, Chavone’s warmth, compassion, and dedication have quickly made her a beloved member of our team—especially on The Greens unit, where she primarily works.



Chavone became a nurse in 2020 after graduating from Fortis College, driven by her love for helping people and making a difference in their lives. Her favorite part of nursing is providing hands-on care, and her gentle bedside manner hasn’t gone unnoticed—residents frequently compliment her kindness and the comfort she brings to their day.

Outside of work, Chavone leads a full and joyful life. She’s married to her wonderful husband and is a proud mom to five beautiful children: Maya (17), A’Kyra (15), Naomi (9), Nasir (6), and baby Ava (10 months). The family is completed by their dog, Ciara Izzy Rae Stark—named after Chavone’s favorite show, Grey’s Anatomy! In her spare time, Chavone enjoys arts and crafts, doing hair, and interior decorating.

Her coworkers describe her as a true team player—quiet, kind, and always ready to lend a hand. She’s often seen with a smile on her face, greeting others in the hallway, and spreading positivity wherever she goes. Chavone shared that she truly enjoys working at Riverview Pointe and appreciates the support of her coworkers and leadership.

With plans to return to school in October to pursue her RN, we know Chavone’s future is bright—and we’re lucky to be a part of her journey. Congratulations again, Chavone! Your compassion and dedication inspire us all.
