I never thought I would need to go to a skilled nursing facility but since I did, I am glad it was here at Riverview Pointe. I am happy to be going home but I am going to miss being here. The therapy team and nursing staff work really well together. All of the rehab staff have been so helpful to getting me where I am and will work with home care so my progress doesn't stop! I truly enjoyed the activities programs and became really close with Mary, the Activities Director.

My wife had rehabbed at Riverview Pointe a few months ago so when I went to the hospital and needed therapy, I knew I wanted to go to Riverview. My stay was wonderful. Everyone was helpful and kind to me. The staff really helped me get back to where I was, the rest is up to me now.

The care my Mom received during her time at Riverview was outstanding. Riveview Pointe did not feel like a nursing home, it felt like a home. Wonderful public places and always decorated for each holiday and season. My family cannot say enough about the awesome team on Comfort Lane, who were well trained to provide great care for those with memory issues. The staff and nurses became a part of our family forever. My Mom really loved that there was a beauty shop on the property and she could get her hair done each week. We also appreciated the assistance provided to us in helping Mom qualify for Medicaid. They made it so easy for us, which removed a lot of stress and concern. We felt truly blessed to have selected Riverview Pointe for Mom's final home.

When I found out I needed my hip replaced, I knew Riverview Pointe is where I wanted to go for rehab. I was a resident there in 2016 and my stay was excellent then and it was again this time. I have nothing by 5 Stars to give each department—Admissions, Therapy, Nursing, Housekeeping and the overall facility. If I ever needed long term care in the future, this is where I would go. Andee my STNA went above and beyond to make sure I always had everything I needed. I would recommend Riverview to anyone who needed it!

Our goal as we discussed with key staff members was to finish out antibiotic treatment and to get Dad PT/OT/ST to allow him to return to his assisted living facility to the functional level he had before his sepsis episode. We’re optimistic that was achieved. Do want to recognize four individuals involved with Dads care that we feel performed their duties above & beyond. Aides – Jalisa, Andee, Dawn, Housekeeping – Cassie! These individuals who we got to know well during Dad’s stay had great attitudes, responded to any requests we made and performed their jobs in an exemplary manner!

the hospital. When I came to Riverview Pointe my legs got stronger and now I’m ready to get back home. The facility was clean, my therapists and nurses were great. Food was good too!

Theresa really listed to all our issues and addressed concerns and we so appreciated that! I give Riverview Point a seven Star Rating! Every aspect of my stay was met with competence and kindness, it was a truly gratifying experience. Physical and Occupational Therapy worked me hard. All of the therapists are very knowledgeable and we got along very well. I would without a doubt recommend Riverview and will definitely return if I need rehab in the future. I thought it was all just terrific.
The nursing care was outstanding. The STNA’s assigned to Kingston are kind and at the same time they know how to encourage the resident to push harder. I received excellent care. PT & OT staff were a great part of my ability to improve to go home.

My wife was here in 2015 and my mother is also here. They treated them very well and that is why I chose to come here. Everyone that works here was very courteous and professional. I want too say therapy was excellent, great staff. I can’t say enough about this place. Even the cook came down to ask what I wanted to eat and he made it. The facility keeps up with making sure it is clean. The grounds were beautiful.
During the last 14 months while Joe was a resident Riverview Pointe exceeded our expectations. From the administrative staff all the way to the maintenance staff, Joe was treated with respect and courtesy. I always felt comfortable leaving Joe in your capable hands. Everyone tended to his needs and always greeted him by name. I also appreciated the courtesies extended to me while I stayed with Joe. A BIG thanks to all involved with his care! I will recommend Riverview Pointe.

Our father was admitted to Riverview Pointe Care Center after spending a week in ICU for rehab. We cannot say enough about the wonderful care he received. Riverview Pointe is a pleasant place and in a lovely setting. The rooms are adequate in size and the new floors look great. I was well taken care of and the staff helped me to get better. The therapy I received was helpful and I know that I needed it. I would give the whole staff and excellent for their care while I was at Riverview Pointe Care Center.

My experience at Riverview Pointe was extraordinary. I found the entire staff, nurses, housekeeping, physical therapy, and all other personnel remarkably kind. I even talked to the people in the kitchen because of my different eating habits. They can really cook! I would recommend Riverview to EVERYONE!!! I will miss all of you. The hospital gave me a binder that had a list of all the nursing homes in the area, Riverview had a five star rating and was close to home. That was what I needed. The staff here at Riverview was super! Two aides stick out to me Mary and Amanda, though all aides and staff were extremely helpful. Mary would bring me many books to read and they had great food as well! If I had to rate your facility on a scale of 1 to 10 it would earn a 15!
Everyone was super. If I ask for something, they were right there – their attitudes were great. Always asking if I was all right. I always felt they really care. Great smiles. Thanks for everything!
I would recommend Riverview to anyone. Never had to wait for an aide or nurse to answer when I rang for them. Loved my room, bright and cheery. Employees were always washing their hands. Excellent aides and nurses: Mary, Amanda, Jordyn, Tierra, Tiffany, Jalisa, Val, Judy, Shyerra, Angie, Heidi, Sarah, and Ron. Could not find better therapists, they were wonderful. I am a friend of former resident and am writing to compliment the caregiving of Ashley Montavlo. The overall care they received at Riverview Pointe was good, but Ashley was exceptional.
There were a number of times during my visits that Ashley would be on duty and occasionally providing them with care. Ashley’s attitude was always positive and pleasant; her care was gentle and administered with great compassion. When visiting was restricted earlier this year, her niece found great comfort in knowing that Ashley was there as her “eyes on the ground” keeping her informed regarding their condition, serving as somewhat of an advocate for their care.
There are certain things that can’t be taught in nursing school, and Ashley has been blessed with those talents. Riverview Pointe and its residents re fortunate to have Ashley on staff. Please let Ashley know how much her kindness and attention meant to us, as well as to her niece, and certainly to them.
My experiences have been very good at this facility. Staff is responsive, friendly and helpful. The therapy staff is exceptional. They set goals for you based upon your needs and desires. Having been a therapist for 40 years, I feel I’m in a position to judge this. In addition, the place is very clean and safety measures are taken consistently. The food is very good and presented in an attractive and tasty manner. As you can see, I have only good things to say about my stay.

Everyone here is very caring and kind. The aides were caring and friendly, when a person is in rehab that is a very important thing to have a conversation with someone. The PT’s and OT’s were knowledgeable and did a good job. The nurses and the rest of the staff were terrific. All in all if you have to go to rehab this was an excellent place!

My overall experience was very good. I feel like the [STNA’s] make your overall experience the most pleasant. Some go over and beyond to make you feel most comfortable. Mikaya and Tina for sure know and do their job and then some. Kudos to them. Overall everyone was friendly and kind. The place is clean and comfortable. Everyone is accommodating. This was my 3rd trip to Riverview. I have had both my knees replaced and was able to rehab on The Greens, their rehab unit. I have been very satisfied with each stay. The employees are just terrific! They are friendly, pleasant, and knowledgeable. It is always clean. I feel very welcome here. I would recommend Riverview Pointe to someone if they need it, you will never regret it.
You have been amazing as you helped us navigate her transition here one year ago. You are fair but firm with your team, helping them recognize the struggles residents face. You are also great at recognizing Grandma's triggers and your chats with her are something she always talks about.
Grandma has a big personality and at times, it may feel like walking in a minefield. I watch how some staff bring humor, empathy, and sass back at her, which is what she enjoys and needs. When staff understands how to build relationships, it matters more than anyone realizes. It deescalates situations, both real and perceived, by my grandma.
Riverview Pointe was very clean and smelled great. The staff were all nice and treated me with respect and treated all my visitors well. My visitors had a great experience as well. Therapy, housekeeping, and dining were all great and wonderful to me. I wish they had Assisted Living that I could stay in but I would definitely recommend Riverview!
