Resident Spotlight for April: Bob
May 3, 2019Meet Robert "Bob."
Bob has a daughter and two grandchildren who live in Baltimore.
He was a mechanic and worked at Abel Company delivering car parts for the last sixteen years before retiring. He used to be on a bowling league and liked to drag race at Akron airport. His favorite car is a Cadillac, and his favorite city is San Diego... He loves corned beef sandwiches and Pepsi. He enjoys football, cars and loves to be around dogs.
Bob hasn't been here long but has made a lot of friends in that short time. When he's not in group activities and hanging out with friends, he will be watching motor trend or some kind of car show. When we asked Bob about his experience at Riverview Pointe, he replied, "I love that I have my own private room with a private shower! The staff does my laundry for me, and they do a great job! I've made a lot of friends since coming here. I really like the activities and therapy staff. They are all very nice and helpful. I enjoy keeping busy here, and I truly enjoy the weekly music events we have every Friday night!"
